  1. There was a lot of ranting after the match on twitter. I did a rant myself on my Tumblr (which I opened last week) about the AJ push… if you don’t mind let me share it with you sister xD:

After AJ won the battle royal, and like nearly every RAW or SD, I saw a lot of complaining about AJ not deserving the push and that she’s being shoved down our throats for so much. This is not new. In mid-2011 there a lot of complains about Kelly Kelly for being every week wrestling and winning nearly every match. Then 2012 arrived and Eve now was the diva getting pushed and nearly the only diva getting tv time. Now it’s AJ turn. First of all, I will say that I like AJ.

The fact that she’s nearly the only diva appearing in both Raw and Smackdown doesn’t help. I mean, when K2 was divas champion, she appeared in both shows but NOT in the same week. Granted she did appear in both shows like 2 times but AJ is getting to do that all weeks, plus along with Kelly, divas like Natalya, Eve, Bellas, Alicia, Beth, and plus more were getting tv time . Eve was the same as Kelly when she was pushed, she was appearing on Raw and barely on SD, but the fact is that in most of the tv shows where no divas matches took place, however Eve got tv times where other divas weren’t on TV. Now AJ, appears on BOTH shows every week, we seldom see divas matches these days and there were legit 2 or 3 weeks in a row that the only diva we saw on WWE TV was AJ. So by that, I agree with the fact that she’s being shoved down our throats more than both K2 and Eve who got heat for the same reason.

Now… about the statement that she doesn’t deserve the push, I disagree there. But she also needs matches, she only gets segments. I like her character development, I think she’s the best character among the current divas, but we also need to see her more in the ring, and with that, we can see other divas getting TV time. I’m more than happy to see new divas getting pushed, and by that, I’m totally good with AJ getting pushed, but this ISN’T the way to do it. And like in every good relationship, also we need distance. AJ being on tv once a week is just fine, no need to do it twice. I rather have AJ on my TV than seeing Beth getting endless title shots for example. Plus like I’ve said, I like seeing fresh faces on the divas division, specially now that the division has gone nowhere.

That’s my opinion, I don’t expect to fully agree with me, but please, respect my opinion. And by the way, AJ is not the one to blame on this, is WWE. Don’t hate on somebody that isn’t guilty.
